While I was working earlier, about 2 yrs ago it was declared “No Operations” for one day. Our kind and supportive clients/customers approved the “day off” from work and prepare to take part in “A day to PAUSE and REFLECT about LIFE…and decide being a WINNER!”
Took a while for me to recollect and put it all together though had few pointers in my drafts. All these days have been putting up related posts (Weenah's...)
BASIC OBSERVATION
The world is littered with the corpses of losers.
1. Losers who allowed the fears, doubts, and obstacles of life to clobber their spirits. [The loser’s mind]
2. Losers whose energies are zapped empty due to their debilitating low self-esteem. [The loser’s heart]
3. Losers identified with the superficiality of life, giving premium only to what satisfies their basic needs. [the loser’s behaviour]
BASIC PREMISE
1. Today’s challenge is to fully engage with life. This is the winner’s basic disposition.
2. And life taken as it is consists of unbend-able principles, connections and interdependencies, and meaning or significance.
3. Too, when we engage with life, we are confronted with a multi-dimensional and mysterious experiences. And we do not have the luxury to abdicate with life.
PARADIGMS for LIFE ENGAGEMENT
Such premises command basic paradigms for living. Living them “separates the men from the boys.”
Champs 'cultivate character' They remain faithful to their principles even when no one is around.
Champs 'Have the heart'. They nurture their intimacies not only to satisfy their own needs , but to be able to give themselves more effectively to the bigger community.
Champs 'Aim for the mission' They find their meaning, mooring, and motivation around their mission.
Champs 'Maintain Balance'They attend to all areas of their lives; and define what success is really for them personally.
Champs 'Prioritize the spirit' They live lives accountable to a higher being with whom no pretence can stand.
Champs 'Stay the course'They commit themselves to their winning lifestyles, no matter what.
